At Brizart, we aim to create an environment where we can enjoy the art process, enjoy meeting other artists, and keep everyone as safe as possible. This is an ongoing process.
- Symptoms Do not attend if you are experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms including cough, elevated temperature, or not feeling well. If the tutors observe that you display these symptoms, you will be asked to remove yourself from the class. Students under 18 will be asked to wait where they can be supervised, while a parent/guardian is contacted. You will not be able to participate in the session activity.
- Students who would otherwise miss the class due to illness may opt to join the class via Zoom.
- Hand sanitiser is always available. Please use it, especially when sharing materials and equipment
- Physically Distancing is still important. Be mindful and respectful of others.
- If tutors need to access your work, move from your chair and maintain social distance.
- Tutors may opt to wear a mask.
- When tutors are demonstrating, all participants are to maintain social distance from each other and the tutor.
- Be mindful of others when waiting to use the sink or to access equipment and materials.

- Masks:
- Mask wearing is encouraged at all times and especially when working in close proximity to other.
- Staff will wear masks when working closely with students.
- Health department directives will be followed regarding masks.
- Brizart may, at its sole discretion, should masks should be to be worn at a particular time, based on risk assessment. If we require masks to be worn we will make masks will be provided. If there is a need for masks to be worn and if a student has a medical reason for not wearing a mask, tutors need to be informed by the parent/guardian/adult student.

- Materials and Equipment:
- Sanitize hands before sharing equipment and tools.
- Class sets of materials and equipment are to be cleaned after use.
- Students are expected to assist by wiping their desks and equipment at the end of the lesson.
- After each class tutors will carry out the final cleaning of the premises.
- Lockdowns – for regular weekly classes.
- In the event of a Covid Lockdown, all classes will immediately go online via Zoom. There will be no credit or refunds. If the lockdown is longer than two weeks and Zoom classes do not suit the student, then we will give you a credit for the remainder of the term.
