Jennifer is the Principal of Brizart and tutors the intermediate to advanced adult group, as well as children, teens and young adults.
As an artist, Jennifer works with a variety of drawing and painting media as well as mixed media and digital graphics. Her artwork demonstrates a passion for manipulating surfaces and integrating the mark making process of creating art. She has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and has completed design commissions for public artworks, textile works, illustration and works for print and web.
In 2011 she successfully completed her Master of Visual Art at QCA, Griffith University with an exhibition, “Uncharted Terrains” comprising large innovative drawings and digital images based on rainforests. Her research and studio work aims to explore conventional understanding of representation and ways of integrating traditional and digital image making. Jennifer has extensive experience as an art educator, tutoring beginners, intermediate and advanced levels.

Dr Nicola Hooper
MAVA Hons Class 1, DVA (QCA Griff)
Nicola tutors the Brizart adult beginners art class.
Nicola is a Brisbane based practicing artist, art educator and workshop facilitator. She completed a Masters of Art in Visual Arts with Class 1 Honors at Griffith University, and in 2019 completed her Doctorate of Visual Art at Queensland College of Art at Griffith University. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is held in public and private collections.
Nicola works with a variety of drawing, painting and print making media. She has been the recipient of several residencies and grants, including the 2015 Regional Arts Queensland Annie Tan Memorial watercolour prize and has been shortlisted for a number of art prizes.
Nicola endeavours to make her classes informative with an injection of fun for all to enjoy.

Tracey Marning-Studin is a Brisbane based artist whose work has been shown in a wide variety of art shows and exhibitions as well as private commissions. She is an advanced member of the Brizart Studio Class and has been attending classes and workshops at Brizart for over 10 years.
Tracey is strongly drawn to realism in art and chooses to express her interpretations on this subject through a variety of mediums including pastels, acrylic, oils and mixed media. In all mediums her work remains both expressive and lyrical in style. Tracey Marning-Studin aims to constantly explore new sources of inspiration and to portray a flowing visual narrative through vibrant colour and composition.
Established in 1999 Brizart holds weekly art classes in Kenmore for Junior Teens, Teens and Adults.
In-person adult art classes are held in Brookfield for beginners, intermediates and advanced students from 23 April 2021. All other classes continue online via Zoom until further notice.
